13:37 Sep 13 2013 Lower Kabete Road, Nairobi, Kenya

Hon Martha Karua, the former Member of Parliament for Gichugu Constituency, has in the recent past been attacked in social media based on her personal deeds and actions.

One of the incidents included a carjacking involving a Catholic priest in the wee hours of the night.

When that incident happened, Hon Karua, popularly referred to as the 'Iron Lion' was the Cabinet Minister for Water.

On the World Water Day observed on March 22 by Kiss FM radio, she declined to attend an interview.

Trouble started when presenters Caroline Mutoko and Walter Mong’are hit back with a tirade of "who does she think she is”, during the station’s Big Breakfast Show.

The carjacking story was aired and questions were raised on what she was doing in the car, with a catholic priest without the presence of security guards.
The following were some of the reactions by readers on social media:

'I have having a good Sunday until you flashed the hyena face. I feel like puking. Please remove ugly in front of my monitor'

'How come the article does not mention her failed marriage to Mr Njoka that was a result of her screwing around with other junior magistrates. She had three illegitimate children that nobody but herself knows the father. No wonder her ex husband could not withstand the devil. She is just good for one night stand in drunken state by folks like Father Wamugunda'

'Martha Karua is HIV + and sleeping with Dancun Mungatana.
She will be next to follow Mwenje ....INSHAALLAH'
